This was Nest Architects proposal for the Melbourne Laneways Commission 2007 administered by the City of Melbourne. The idea was to add a beautiful and lyrical layer to the ever evolving landscape that inhabits Duckboard Place in the CBD. The many people that walk past the lane would startle one single neon bird. The frightened bird would stir the neon flock which would flee to safety.
